    A few weeks ago, I watched a YouTube video by Investing with Rose that really resonated with me. Her channel is devoted to investing for “the rest of us”, and I watch her from time to time, but this video was very concrete. It inspired me to open a Roth IRA. I went with Fidelity because it’s a familiar name to me and it’s one of Rose’s recommended companies.     In October of 2015, the first dog I’d ever adopted, Nelson, passed away overnight in his sleep. I know you’re supposed to let yourself grieve for a while, but I don’t do life things in the way you’re supposed to do them. I found a Yorkie rescue organization, United Yorkie Rescue, that fostered dogs in Florida, which is where I lived at the time.     Several weeks ago, I guess I was bored. So, I started online shopping. Even though I have some really cool outfits I really love. So now I’m stuck with more trendy items than I care to admit and that I don’t need at all. I also don’t want to spend the time figuring out how to incorporate them into my wardrobe. Lesson learned. Now I’m left dealing with the coordination of returns, which will be a lingering deterrent to prevent repeating that mistake.
